Posted 21 August 2020

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work. More than 700 nominations from organizations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories.

We are happy to share that Modis Bulgaria won Silver Stevie Awards in 3 different categories:

  • Employer of the Year in Business in the Business Services Industry
  • Best Learning & Development Strategy
  • People-Focused CEO of the Year award given to our General Manager – Philippe Rouvrais

More than 90 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. Here is what they shared about our achievements:

“The strategy to refine all employee-related processes has led to positive impact is really impressive. The way they adapted quickly and switched to remote work and home office for all their close to 1400 people in three office locations in Bulgaria.”

“Modis is providing a lot of great benefits to its employees, and its showing with the stellar growth in staff over the last year. The Modis Language and Technical Academies and free access to a significant number of trainings is to be commended for sure.”

“What a great employee satisfaction score!. Promoting employees for managerial roles helps your people set real goal in their career path. And i really love your "Modis Live Smart" program.”

“Great initiatives linked to the organization strategy, with a great HR results specifically in employee satisfaction reflecting a successful implementation of people initiatives.”

“Leaders exist to create the environment so the real worker is unencumbered to get their job done. Leaders are accountable for employee success through the culture and tools they provide. Philippe Rouvrais, has demonstrated and executed an exceptional Operational HR strategy with the foundation of treating employees as the most important factor for the business. Great job! IT'S ABOUT THE PEOPLE!!”

“Philippe's support for his fellow colleagues really shines through this submission. There is a sense from the supporting materials he is not just a manger but a true leader in his field.”

“Modis has clearly given careful thought to learning and development. What caught my notice is that learning and development is provided at multiple levels, including technical, language and leadership. Often learning and development is targeted at a subset of employees.”

We are very happy to see that our efforts to ensure great working environment for our colleagues, opportunities for growth within the organization, learning & development initiatives and health and safety conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic is being noted by such great professionals from international business organizations.

I am really very proud to receivethis fantastic award and global recognition, because it reflects our long-termefforts and continuous focus on our people’s development and growth at Modis. We are fully committed to our mission to develop our organizational talent and we will keep investing in upskilling and reskilling of our people at multiple levels in order to empower and engage our employees and build our capacity for future business opportunities.
