Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Software Developer. As a Software Developer, where you have experience in Microsoft Power Platform tools and integrating them with various data sources, this role offers an exciting opportunity. Bring your expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents to streamline tasks and processes. Your leadership skills and certification in Power Platform will contribute to driving digital transformation initiatives within the government.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must Haves:

  • Experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

  • Proficiency in creating Power Pages-based websites for document submissions from authenticated users.

  • Building workflows and automation solutions to streamline tasks and processes.

  • Understanding and experience working with Microsoft Dataverse for data management.

  • Integrating Power Platform solutions with various data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and Azure.

Criteria:

  • Technical Knowledge and Expertise:

    • Proficiency in building canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps.

    • Experience with data connectors and dataflows for connecting and transforming data.

    • Deep knowledge in SQL Server and writing T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

    • Integrating Power Platform with Azure services and leveraging Azure Logic Apps.

    • Managing environments, security, and permissions within Power Platform.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services like SharePoint Online, Teams, and Outlook.

    • Hands-on experience in leading data migration projects.

  • Certifications:

    • Certified in Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals or Developer Associate.

    • Communication and Leadership Skills.

  • Communication and Leadership Skills:

    • Ability to approach and solve complex issues efficiently.

    • Effective interaction with stakeholders and the development team.

    • Collaboration, teamwork, and working closely with business stakeholders.

    • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

    • Providing technical guidance and support to developers and end-users.
