Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer. As a DevOPS/Cloud Engineer where you have experience in cyber security and network protection solutions. If you're passionate about safeguarding digital infrastructures and have a knack for coordinating complex technical work, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Ontario's security landscape.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must-Haves:
Cyber Security and Network Security
Over 10 years of extensive expertise in cyber security and network protection solutions.
Demonstrated experience with SDN, SD-WAN, and SASE.
Hands-on proficiency with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint security solutions.
Coordination Skills and Experience
Strong communication skills with over 5 years of experience in presenting to management teams and coordinating technical work across multiple IT teams.
Industry Certifications / Relevant Degrees
Required security certification (e.g., CISSP or CISM).
A postgraduate degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
Nice-to-Have:
Public Sector Experience
Experience working with Ontario K-12 school boards, particularly in network security.
