Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Cloud Strategist. As a Cloud Strategist, where you have experience in Microsoft Azure to drive enterprise cloud migration strategies. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to security standards and facilitating seamless transitions to the cloud. Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must Haves:
5+ years of experience developing and implementing enterprise cloud migration strategies utilizing Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in enterprise security requirements and applying government IT standards.
Expertise in creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, and executing migration run books.
Experience providing support for change management and guiding organizations in cloud adoption stages.
Ability to analyze existing environments and recommend cloud solutions.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in the public sector is advantageous.
Criteria:
Cloud Migration Experience:
Extensive experience in developing and implementing enterprise cloud migration strategies using Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of enterprise security requirements and government IT standards.
Proficiency in creating migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, and conducting financial analysis.
Communication and Leadership Skills:
Ability to create high-quality, client-facing assets and present them to key stakeholders.
Experience in developing architecture, roadmaps, and transformation plans for cloud migration.
Collaboration with stakeholders to implement agile, cloud-native processes.
Desirable Skills:
Strategic thinking and understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure.
Familiarity with DevOps, security compliance, vendor management, and project management.
Knowledge of various cloud technologies and providers.
