TenneT TSO concludes framework agreement with Modis Engineering

Augustus 2018 - Modis Engineering has been selected, together with Omexom and Tebodin, as the new preferred supplier for Maintenance & Preservation of electricity network manager TenneT. Together with consultancy and engineering firm Movares, Modis Engineering is going to develop the engineering packages for the West region for the preventive and corrective replacement of the various assets at the high-voltage stations.

TenneT is about to embark on a huge process of replacement. The framework agreement for the engineering work for Maintenance and Preservation includes work on various primary, secondary and tertiary systems. The existing 380kV and 150kV infrastructure covers services of predominantly small-scale, preventive, corrective and serial replacement of primary and secondary components.

Inspections and solutions

TenneT entered into the framework agreements for a term of two years with an option to extend three times for a period of two years. The tender was made of three parcels, namely the North, South and West regions. Together with Movares, Modis Engineering is going to develop the engineering packages for the West region for the preventive and corrective replacement of the various assets at the high-voltage stations.

Within the framework of these engineering packages it will carry out inspections of the current state of affairs, create the design, write the specifications and ensure that as-built data is processed correctly in such a way that the contractor can carry out the work safely and well and that the documentation is updated afterwards.
