''After completing my architecture course I worked at a firm of architects in Eindhoven for ten years. When the company went bankrupt, I started looking for a new job. I was keen to find a role in which I could provide a service to companies and continue my development. I've now worked at Modis Engineering for a year. Know who you are and what you are able to do
''I have gained more self-confidence on both a personal and technical level. I now have contact with more people than I used to and I find the work easier to do. Because I am gaining in confidence and receive good supervision from my manager, I now know what I'm able to do and who I am. On the basis of a personal development plan I am put to work on all kinds of different projects. My manager is also an architect, so he understands what I want and why.''
