Since this year, Jacques has joined Modis as a Senior Manager in Demand and Supply at Astellas. He really enjoys expanding his knowledge of the Supply Chain within the pharmaceutical industry. Curious to know what he does? Read his story:

“My role is being a Senior Manager in the Demand and Supply team. The core function is to focus on creating a stable supply for products that I’m responsible for in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).This means surveying, managing and continuously improving the supply chain processes (planning, ordering, inventory, logistics) across all supply channels. To ensure stock availability, distribution is secured and cost targets achieved. This role requires me to engage cross-functionally with other departments on a daily basis to ensure deliverables are met at the required standards.

Each and every day I find myself lucky to be part of such a fast moving and important industry, knowing that what we do has such an impact on people’s lives. The communication and support from Modis from the start has been nothing short from professional. I receive regular updates with regards to business news as well as meetings on my progress at Astellas.
