PHP Application Developer

Akkodis is seeking a PHP Developer to join a well known mid-west organization! This person needs to be located in the Des Moines, IA or Ames, IA area! MUST be good going onsite 2-3 days per week!

Rate: 80k - 110k/year depending on level of experience

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

• Design and develop web products using PHP

• Implement new features and maintain existing codebase

• Follow coding standards and best practices

• Develop and maintain APIs to integrate with legacy client applications

• Produce high-quality, and documented code that will be easily maintained

• Improve and contribute to the scalability of existing applications

• Create end user and technical documentation for applications

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideal candidate will have 5+ years PHP experience along with the following:

• PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symphony, Zend Expressive, or Zend Framework)

• React, HTML, CSS

• Docker and CI/CD Deployment

• Linux/MySQL

• PHP 7

• Git

• SQL

• Ajax

• JQuery

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred
