Network Technician

Akkodis is partnering with a Fortune 500 company in Erie, PA, recruiting Network Technician candidates to facilitate in the following areas;

• Installing network hardware components

• Configuring network software

• Provisioning and maintenance of network hardware and software

• Identifying and resolving network issues

• Ensuring network operation is functional, effective, and secure

• Troubleshooting of PC/laptops, hardware, and software related to the network and its servers

• Providing end-user support  

• Effectively communicates with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

• Utilizes technical guidance received from leaders and higher-level peers to address complex problems and projects.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering. Experience within the field and/or certifications will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

• 2 years of experience as a Network Technician or similar role.

• Proficiency and knowledge of network equipment and technologies.

• Proficiency in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of network hardware/software.

This is a long term contract role which requires full-time work onsite in Erie, PA

Pay Rate: $20-22 per hour
