The Senior Field Service Manager (Sr. FSE Manager) is responsible for managing a team on Engineers who are performing installation, qualification, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of company supplied equipment of several products. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control and monitoring the work in an advisory capacity as well as supervising company employees in the performance of their work. This also includes resolving internal and external conflicts.

Type: Direct Hire – Internal W2

Salary: $125k - $160k/Annual

Location: Beaverton, OR (Possible hybrid option once full inserted into processes)

**Experience in IC Packaging, and Assembly related equipment required

Previous experience in a supervisory management position is highly preferred. The Senior Manager is required to be proficient in basic systems technologies and serve as a technical resource manager for regional customers and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing Key Customer programs while managing a team on employees

  • Uses analytical skills to structure resources, manage budget and ensure resources are in place to support customer activities.

  • Interface with customers to ensure schedules are met on a timely manner.

  • Manage local spares and inventories for installed equipment base.

  • Develop basic knowledge of all installed equipment base in region / market.

  • Develop technical competency of direct reports to ensure up to date knowledge base for new equipment installation and other activities.

  • Provide direction to staff, sets priorities, establish workload, and provides support on decision making

  • Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale and teamwork.

  • Manage development, performance management, personnel issues, disciplinary measures for his team.

  • Provides technical expertise and leadership in assigned area. Performs or directs more complicated repairs when necessary.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to clearly understand customer issues and manage timely resolution working with local team members and supply center.

  • Ability to work with global organization and groups.

  • Ability to work with internal and external customer and suppliers.

  • A dynamic ‘can do’ personality with excellent relationship building skills, and result-oriented approach.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal), strong presentation skills including ability to interface and present to customers at all levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Power point, Excel, Project, Word etc.) is essential.

  • Motivated, self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects without direct supervision.

  • Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A BS Degree from an accredited University with a minimum of 10 years’

  • Experience with a minimum of two back-end processes is a definite advantage

  • Required certification may vary depending on actual work experience
