Location: Maricopa, Arizona

Under the general direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, performs preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance service on commercial and industrial HVAC systems at customer facility, only occasionally requiring assistance with new or unusual situations. Performs tests and analysis of equipment related data to assure the proper functioning of equipment and provide recommendations as appropriate. Understands control operation, and sequence of operation for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot, plan, modify, and repair/rebuild all types of plant equipment

• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, repair and construction as required

• Repair and test equipment to assure satisfactory performance

• Serve as a mentor to lower level Maintenance Technicians

• Work from ladders, lifts, elevated places as required

• Submit requisitions for repair / replacement parts as necessary

• Keep equipment, maintenance shop and job sites clean and in orderly condition

• Using CMMS system document daily work completed, report job outcomes, and supplies used

• Work in accordance with OSHA and Customer safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Education- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Skills/Experience- 5 - 10 years HVAC experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC equipment /systems. Licenses/Certifications EPA universal refrigeration license. General mechanical knowledge including pump and piping repair, basic electrical, Fork lifts, skid-steer, etc. Ability to read prints, schematics, manuals, etc. Must be able to pass all OSHA Training.

Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds. Job requires sitting, standing, and bending for approximately 6-8 hours on a daily basis. Must be flexible and available to work overtime and odd hours, including some weekends and Holidays. Ability to pass drug screen and physical.
