Data Analyst/SSIS Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst/SSIS Developer position with a client located in Rochester, NY. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or Engineering is required. You will work alongside, and take direction from, the Senior Programmer SSIS Development, to participate on a project team tasked with integrating a global supply chain planning application with existing enterprise resource planning software (ERP) applications and operations IT systems. Will also develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) programs to support the data integration of a global supply chain planning application from o9 Solutions with multiple ERP and operations IT applications.

Pay/Salary Range $45-$60hr.

Data Analyst/SSIS Developer job responsibilities include:

·       Take direction from Senior Programmer SSIS Development for company on daily tasks and activities.

·       Analyzing incoming feeds and doing data validation.

·       Write new or modify existing packages/projects according to specified systems designs.

·       Test new or modified programs to ensure that they conform to design.  Develop test data for use in program testing.

·       Write documentation of system changes in conformance with department standards

·       Write any necessary user documentation (report descriptions, user procedures, operations procedures)

·       Provide timely and concise summaries of project status to manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or Engineering is required.

·       Minimum Two years’ related experience.

·       Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) knowledge and demonstrated experience required.

·       Knowledge of designing and developing data transformation solutions using a variety of SSIS components (Data Flow Task, Data Flow transform tasks, Data Flow containers, Foreach Loop containers, Script components using C#).

·       Reviews user requirements for new applications or enhancements to existing applications and performs analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and training related to the application developed.

·       Software development life cycle and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

·       Proficient in SQL query writing and editing

·       Familiarity with building SQL database objects (tables, views, stored procedures).
