Edith Clarke, first woman to be professional employed as an electrical engineer in the US

Edith Clarke was a woman of many first in the world of STEM. After being the first woman to earn an electrical engineer degree from MIT, Edith worked from 1919 until 1945 at General Electric. After retiring from GE, Edith went on to become the first female electrical engineering professor in the US.
