Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a System Testing / QA Specialist. As a System Testing / QA Specialist, you have experience in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our software systems. We're seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in testing methodologies and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and performance.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must Haves:
Robust experience in a wide array of testing methodologies including Sanity, Smoke, System, GUI, Positive, Negative, Regression, Performance, Volume, Stress, Black Box, Functional, UAT, End To End, Cross Browser, and Cross Platform testing.
Proficiency in Software Development, Quality Assurance & Testing, focusing on automation using JIRA.
Ability to devise and implement strategies for designing, maintaining, and executing manual test cases covering GUI, functional, API, and end-to-end scenarios.

Knowledge of Tools and Methodologies:
Proficient in Jira and Agile methodology.
Hands-on experience in SQL Server database scripting.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Expertise in analyzing, developing, debugging, and executing complex regression test cases for integrated applications.
Collaboration with Technical Developers to clarify testing requirements.
Adaptability and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Quick learner capable of adapting to evolving project landscapes.
Experience in cross-browser and mobile device testing.
Understanding of the System Development Process and test planning.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, and proactively engage across teams.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Expertise in influencing testing strategy and guiding test automation.
Providing mentorship and knowledge transfer to peer team members.
Preparation of user and system documentation as required.
