Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Software Developer. As a Software Developer where you have experience in ETL solutions crucial for data integration and migration. With over a decade of hands-on experience in Informatica and AWS, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and automating ETL/ELT processes, ensuring seamless data management across on-premises and cloud platforms.
Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.
Must-haves:
10+ years of hands-on Informatica experience, particularly with Powercenter.
Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT solutions on-premises.
Nice-to-have:
AWS experience, including Informatica on-cloud (IDMC).
Criteria:
Proficiency in Informatica (10+ years) and AWS (5+ years).
Expertise in Informatica transformations, mappings, and workflows.
Experience migrating ETL workloads from on-premises to AWS.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Linux shell).
Ability to automate and orchestrate ETL processes.
Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, etc.
Database/Data Warehouse (10+ years):
Relational database design and optimization.
Implementing security controls for sensitive data.
Query tuning and dimensional data modeling.
Advanced SQL and PLSQL proficiency.
General Skills:
Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Public Sector/Healthcare Experience:
Understanding of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture.
Familiarity with industry standards like PMI.
Knowledge of Ministry policy and IT project approval processes.
Experience with large, complex IT Health-related projects.
