Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a System Analyst. As a System Analyst where you have experience in critical 24x7 environments, particularly in emergency health services like ambulance communications. Proficiency in PSRN projects is essential, along with expertise in system analysis, network technologies, and IP telephony systems. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must Haves:

  • 5-10+ years of experience as a systems analyst.

  • Proficiency in projects related to 24x7 critical environments and operations.

  • Familiarity with the PSRN project.

  • Understanding of emergency health services including ambulance communications.

Criteria:

  • Core Skills:

    • Profound knowledge of systems analysis and design methods.

    • Demonstrated expertise in testing and implementation methods.

    • Experience in voice, data, radio, and satellite telecommunications engineering.

    • Proficiency in Local Area Networks and various network topologies/configurations.

    • Skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, change management, and project coordination.

    • Ability to use basic Radio Frequency test equipment.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of server and network technologies, hardware, and IT security policies.

    • Experience with IP-based telephony systems such as Avaya and CTI solutions.

    • Proficiency in integrated voice and data switching systems and computer data communications architecture.

    • Familiarity with VHF and UHF radio technologies.

    • Experience with public safety dispatch systems integration.

    • Understanding of current and emerging telecommunications systems technologies.

  • Analytics:

    • Knowledge of project management methodology and analytical tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Communications:

    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
