Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a System Analyst. As a System Analyst where you have experience in enhancing our digital infrastructure by leveraging your expertise in software development, testing, and coordination. Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must-haves:

  • Knowledge of Atlassian server installation and configuration (JIRA, Confluence, and related supporting applications and plugins).

  • Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Java applets, .NET CORE, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and other emerging web technologies for implementing application enhancements.

  • Demonstrated experience in various software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.

Criteria:

  • Release and Environment Coordination

    • Proficient in gathering, documenting, and analyzing current business processes and system requirements.

    • Provide clarification to designers, developers, and testers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

    • Support change management processes within project scope, schedule, and expectations.

  • Technical Skills

    • Knowledge of Oracle database objects and scripting, Crystal reports development, and Atlassian server installation and configuration.

    • Familiarity with Alfresco CMS server installation, configuration, and integration.

  • QA Skills

    • Documenting test scenarios, results, artifacts, and tickets.

    • Writing test scripts, cases, and scenarios, testing web applications, and reporting defects.

    • Utilizing testing tools such as JIRA Testbed, Quick Test Pro, and HP Quality Center for automated test scripts.

  • Communication Skills

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

    • Experience in written and oral communication with various stakeholders, adapting to ambiguous requirements and finding pragmatic solutions.
