The Role
Responsible for supporting project teams, whilst refining and improving DevOps practices, helping to drive a cultural change across the organisation. The role also entails implementing and maintaining end-to-end DevOps automation from the build, implement, deploy, to operate (CI/CD deployment pipeline).
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework and Cloud migration industry standards and best practices
- Prior programming background in at least ONE language: C++, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience working with AWS serverless architecture and Cloud Formation i.e., Lambda, API Gateway, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline.
- Experience with a relational database technology and SQL Queries. Any one of: Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB
- Knowledge of development processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of DNS, Networking, Internet
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools, best practices, etc.
- Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Understands cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges.
