The MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE) new partnership to collaborate on innovation projects and support the development of tomorrow’s tech talents

Sydney: June 1, 2022: Modis, soon to become Akkodis, a global leader in the engineering and R&D market, joins the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE), a research centre exploring the effects of the digital economy at the MIT Sloan School of Management as its newest Corporate Member. This partnership will actively participate in research projects, events, education and MIT IDE’s central activities to drive Smart Industry leadership and digital transformation.

Together, we will collaborate on thought leadership and applied academic research across multiple smart technology fields such as human/AI interface, data-driven societies, and tech for good to drive innovation forward. We will also participate in MIT IDE’s flagship educational program, MIT Analytics Lab (A-Lab), where graduate students will engage with our leadership team to develop results that diagnose, enable, or uncover solutions to real business challenges and opportunities using analytics, machine learning, and other methods of analysis. Together, we want to encourage experts to learn from each other, develop new skills through cooperation, and create new ideas that can make an impact for a smarter and more sustainable tomorrow.
