The key objectives of this role include:

Tech Replacement - FOC Data Ingestion: Ensure that the new repeater/receiver hardware procured from Campbell Scientific Australia (CSA) can effectively transmit flood warning data (ALERT data) to both the current and upgraded versions of ENVIROMON, as well as to Azure Cloud. This includes future-proofing for ALERT2 protocols.

Site Risk Reduction OT Modifications: Implement modifications for OT systems and hardware (such as PLC, SCADA screens, alarm configurations, interlocks, switchboards, and cabling) to mitigate site risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Initiating and Planning Projects: Formulate project charters detailing objectives, scope, deliverables, and stakeholders. Identify project requirements, constraints, and risks, while establishing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Executing and Monitoring Projects: Coordinate project activities, resources, and teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues, risks, and changes while fostering effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Documenting and Reporting Projects: Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes. Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders and management, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
  • Managing Stakeholders: Identify and engage project stakeholders, establishing transparent communication channels. Manage stakeholder expectations and involvement throughout the project lifecycle, addressing concerns, conflicts, and feedback.
  • Mitigating Risks: Identify and assess project risks, devising appropriate mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing response plans and contingency measures as required.
  • Ensuring Quality: Establish and uphold quality standards, conducting regular assessments and audits. Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement within the PMO and project management practices. Explore opportunities to refine project management methodologies and techniques, while promoting knowledge sharing and lessons learned among project teams.
  • Compliance and Values: Adhere to Seqwater Work Health and Safety standards, Quality Management System Procedures, and Environmental Management system procedures. Uphold behavioral expectations and values outlined in Seqwater's Code of Conduct, emphasizing integrity, respect, care, and courage.

Qualifications:

  • Possesses a recognized qualification in a Project Management framework such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
  • Collaborates with onsite teams to ensure timely fulfillment of prerequisites before the delivery partner attends site, including hardware upgrades and completion of SCADA upgrades where necessary.
  • Oversees release planning activities prior to site installations, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Management of Change (MOC).
  • Manages the cutover process in consultation with the delivery partner and site stakeholders.
  • Updates Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Management Plans and oversees the delivery of updating/operational procedures.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of expertise in SCADA and PLC deployment, integrations, and upgrades.
  • Possesses an understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory requirements.
